The Norwich Sea Captains will host their second annual Youth Camp August 12-16 at the RoseGarden Ice Arena. Sea Captains staff and players will run the on and off ice session aimed at helping players prepare for the coming season by working on their individual skills and decision making in a development-oriented environment,
The camp schedule will include 10 hours of ice time as well as off ice sessions and shooting/stickhandling stations. All campers will receive an online evaluation at the conclusion of the camp (sample to be shared with registration confirmation). All campers will also receive a free ticket to the 2024-25 Sea Captains home game of their choice!
We will likely have two age groups this year, so exact times and player groupings will be determined by registrations.
Sample Schedule for Monday through Thursday
9:30 to 10:30 AM – On Ice
10:45 to 11:30 AM – Off Ice Session
11:45 AM to 12:15 PM – Lunch Break
12:30 to 1 PM – Shooting Stations
1:30 to 2:45 PM – On Ice Session
Friday, August 16 Schedule
9 to 10 AM – Group A Competition
10:10 to 11:10 AM – Group B Competition
The camp schedule may require slight time adjustments, All players will receive a final schedule by email no later than the evening of Friday, August 9 (or upon their registration if after this date).
