The Norwich Sea Captains are pleased to announce their December Players of the Month presented by Joshua’s Worldwide.
Jack Kinahan (2002 Forward / Stamford, CT) – The veteran forward netted five goals and dished out two assists for seven points in eight December games. Kinahan recorded three multipoint games during the month. He scored and recorded an assist in a 2-1 win over the Bay State Bobcats on December 9 and then scored twice the next night in a 5-1 win over the same team. Kinahan closed out the month by scoring both Sea Captains goals in a 6-2 loss to the Helena Bighorns at the NA3HL Showcase in Blaine, MN on December 20. He leads the Sea Captains 15 goals and is second on the team with 23 points so far this season.
Tim Hayden (2003 Defenseman / New Fairfield, CT) – Hayden scored three goals and dished out three helpers for six points in eight games during the month of December. He scored twice with two lasers from the point that found the top corners of the net and added an assist in a 5-1 win over Bay State on December 10. Then on December 14, Hayden scored another goal and added an assist in a 5-4 overtime loss to the Danbury Jr Hat Tricks. Hayden is the Sea Captains leading scoring defenseman with 17 points so far this season.
Presley Patrin (2004 Goaltender / Milaca, MN) – The rookie netminder went 1-1 in December and recorded a .895 save percentage during the month. He made 19 saves to earn the win in a 5-1 victory over the Bay State Bobcats on December 10. Patrin made 41 saves, including 26 in during the second and third periods of a 6-2 loss to the Helena Bighorns on December 20.
